JVC full HD TVs are capable of displaying at 1920 vertical by 1080 horizontal resolution, delivering a total of more than 2 million pixels.

HD ready 1080p and HD ready TVs
You will be able to enjoy high-definition sources such as broadcasting, etc. on "HD ready 1080P" and "HD ready" labelled TVs that conform to criteria specified by EICTA*.
It HDTV as an image with 720 progressive or 1080 interlaced active (top to bottom) scan lines. 720p and 1080i are typically accepted as high-definition scan rates.

Perfect DynaPix HD: Dynamic Picture Management
For optimum performance, the DynaPix HD picture engine makes precise adjustments to significantly upgrade colour reproduction while increasing contrast remarkably with backlighting technology. The DynaPix HD picture engine is also capable of high-speed processing to match the full HD panel potential.

Eco Mode
To reduce power consumption, Eco Mode automatically adjusts screen brightness according to ambient light levels of the room, helping to decrease eye fatigue and save energy. Eco Mode combined with Smart Picture helps to significantly make TV viewing easier and much more comfortable.

Hand Clap Function
The Hand Clap Function is JVCs unique technology that lets you be a magician. It uses the TVs built-in microphone to detect the sound of hand clapping or finger snapping, which is then processed to control the TV according to preset patterns such as three claps to turn the power on or off, and two claps to mute the sound.

MaxxAudio(R) (LCD)
MaxxAudio(R) complements MaxxBass and it is featured on the high-end LCD models. As audio from TV speakers can be muffled and flat without the addition of external sound systems, MaxxAudio with its parametric equalizer and four features -- MaxxBass, MaxxTreble, MaxxStereo and MaxxVolume -- drastically improves sound performance. MaxxBass and MaxxTreble compensate low and high frequencies to widen the frequency
band while the parametric equalizer boosts flat audio characteristics caused by the limited output of TV speakers. MaxxStereo naturally expands the audio source for enhanced stereo reproduction and MaxxVolume maintains uniform output by reducing audio spikes that can occur during commercial breaks. Both MaxxBass(R) and MaxxAudio(R) will transform existing parameters of TV sound, making them ideal audio technologies for today's big-screen LCD televisions.

100Hz Clear Motion Drive II (LCD)
100Hz Clear Motion Drive II for Full HD LCD TVs detects image data from more than 8000 surrounding dots in a frame to create a pixel and calculate movement in the current frame to the next. This process is performed on all 2.07 megapixels in a frame using a dedicated LSI with an original algorithm and represents a fivefold improvement over the original drive that used interpolation for complex movement in all directions. Moving news tickers or sub-titles on the screen and even scenes with very rapid panning that include diagonal movement will be reproduced clearly without significant loss in overall brightness and detail. Additionally, 10-bit quantization process allows the use of 1 billion colours for rich, natural colour reproduction.
